Chapter 3 “Theologies R Us” 

Page 69:  “The point being made is: disprovable statements are two a penny” 

Should read: “The point being made is: statements which are neither provable nor disprovable are two a penny” 

Chapter 6 “Weak Evidence” 

The author accepts that page 155 contains an incorrect interpretation of the use of the word ‘novel’ by Suetonius.  Suetonius clearly uses the term to mean ‘new’ as opposed to ‘story’.  However, the arguments against the identified passage from Suetonius being evidence for the existence of a literal Jesus are still valid and remain unaffected if the above misinterpretation is ignored.
