Cruel Enforcement |
|
We hear stated many times, from the dignitaries of the
Church of England, that: “We are historically, traditionally and
culturally a Christian country and a Christian people.”
This is a pathetic, weak and INCORRECT statement used to justify:
religious education and indoctrination, compulsory Christian worship
at school and the involvement of the Church of England in matters of
state.
We are not “historically Christian”, we are in fact
historically
Pagan; the historic cultural superstitious beliefs of Britain were
eradicated with the introduction of enforced conversion to, and
enforced adherence of, Roman Catholic beliefs, a mere 1,400 years
ago.
Prior to 600 CE the population of Britain was pagan and happy to
be so, and had been for at least 3,100 years - following the arrival
of the Beaker people circa 2500 BCE - and most possibly considerably
longer.
The following images are of a shocking nature, and are displayed
to demonstrate the TRUE nature of the brutal introduction of
Christianity to Europe and Britain, the longevity of that
enforcement, and how recently the enforcement ended and the
re-branding of the message to an organisation of love and
forgiveness began; appallingly, only 90 years ago! |

Charlemagne's crusade against
'heathens' took place in the course of his Thirty Years' War
(774-804) during which most of the indigenous cultures of Europe
disappeared. The violence and atrocities of Charlemagne's Thirty
Years' War include the executions of thousands who refused
to convert to Christianity and resulted in deaths of about a
half and in some regions close to two thirds of the pre-war
population. During Charlemagne's Thirty Years' War, people who
refused to be converted were executed. These executions took
place in recurring waves, reaching its peak in 782 when Charlemagne
executed in a single day over 4,000 Saxons
who refused to convert to Christianity. During his campaigns against
Saxony, in his conversations transcribed by his biographer Eginhard,
Charlemagne often repeated that: 'Saxony
must be Christianized, or wiped out.' |

The Christian Inquisition: 1231 -
1834 |
|
* “Anyone who attempts to construe a personal view of God which
conflicts with Church dogma must be burned without pity”. Pope
Innocent III 1198 - 1216
* Pope Gregory IX established the Inquisition in 1231
* In 1245 Pope Innocent IV agreed to absolve Inquisitors and
their agents of all acts of violence. He sanctioned the use of
torture for as long as required to obtain confessions in cases of
heresy, in others words, do not stop torturing until a confession is
obtained.
* Barnard Gui Bishop of Lodve, appointed Inquisitor of Toulose
1307 – 1323 by Pope Clement V: “The layman must not argue with the
unbeliever, but thrust his sword into his belly as far as it will
go”.
* Pope Sixtus IV (1471 1484) appointed the most virulent
Inquisitor in Spain, Thomas de Torquemada, he is credited with the
burning of 2,200 people.
* Pope Paul III reassigned the medieval Inquisition to Holy
Office in 1542.
* In 1521 Pope Leo X states: “No questioning of, or appeal
against, the sentence of the ecclesiastical judges”
* Fransico Pena; Inquisitor 1578: “We must remember that the main
purpose of the trial and execution is not to save the soul of the
accused but to achieve the public good and put fear into others”
* Mass public burnings were common and known as “auto-da-fe”
* The Inquisition spanned continents and centuries, it lasted
from 1231 to 1834, over 600 years. It was presided over by 83 Popes
from Gregory IX to Gregory XVI. |

Malleus Maleficarum 1450 to 1750:
|
|
300 years of Christian Church sanctioned torture and execution of
women accused of the ridiculous notion of being a thing called a”
Witch”. Another fictitious creation by the Church used to install
total fear into a community in order to obtain absolute obedience
and power. There was also plenty of money to be made, since any
property owned by the victim of this farce was confiscated by the
inquisitor. |
 |
|
The Process approved by the Christian
Church:
* Strip the accused naked in order to locate any of the tell tale
signs of the devil: moles, warts, birthmarks etc. If necessary
remove all hair from all parts of the body.
* Locate the devils spot, the area where the skin will not bleed.
Do this by repeatedly cutting and stabbing the victim to see if any
one area does not let blood.
* Administer torture to extract a confession. “A Witch will only
confess under extreme pain”.
* Once found guilty, remove with pincers and pliers the nipples
and the genitalia.
* Sentence the convicted Witch to be burnt alive
(if still alive) at the stake. |

Cathars burnt at the stake at Chateau Montsegur |
 |
|
|
The suppression of Gnostic (allegorical Jesus) ideas was wickedly
efficient. However, there was one last attempt to revive the Gnostic
concept of dualism in southern France and Italy between the 11th and
13th centuries. The Cathars preached a dualism (two Gods) which
contained a high God ‘The Good’ who was displeased with a lesser God
‘The Demiurge’ for creating the world which ‘The Good’ viewed as a
wicked, unauthorised creation.
Acquiring ‘the Word’ or ‘Gnosis’ was the way to lead oneself away
from the wicked creation and back to the light. Jesus was sent by
the Good, to lead us from the wicked Demiurge (the God of the Jews,
and therefore also the God of Catholic Christianity), and towards
‘the Light’ (the Good).
The Cathars were outspoken in their opposition to many parts of
the New Testament. This simply could not be tolerated by the
intolerant Roman Catholic Church, so it did the all too familiar
intolerant Christian thing. Its leader, Pope Innocent III to be
precise (a most inapt title), declared a crusade on the Cathars in
1209 CE ‘The Albigensian Crusade’.
In the inquisition that followed many people suffered execution
by being burnt at the stake for the heresy of ‘Catharism’; it is
estimated that half of the population of southern France perished.
In this act, the Catholic Church brutally removed the last
opposition to its theology in Europe FOR EVER. It then proceeded to
preach tolerance and love, turn the other cheek, love thy neighbour
and forgive your enemy; HYPOCRITES! |
|
|
|
If the Catholic Church had been more tolerant, we might have been
able to worship the Cathar’s concept of dualism today:
If the
Cathers were correct in their theology, Catholic and Protestant
theologies are leading people away from the real God, ‘The Good’ and
straight into the arms of the Demiurge, the 'Wicked One’! |
|
Blasphemy |
|
The Church ensured Christian adherence and obedience with copious,
ruthless and merciless application of the blasphemy laws; the
blasphemy laws it created, to protect its own existence!
To
illustrate the ferociousness with which the blasphemy laws were
enacted in the 1534 to 1811 time frame, consider the fate of James
Naylor in 1656.
James was charged with blasphemy for staging a re-enactment of
the Palm Sunday precession in which he played the role of Jesus.
James was also a thorn in the side of the Church of England for
openly protesting against slavery and having a sizable following of
Quakers who saw him as divinely touched.
His punishments after conviction of blasphemy were: flogging,
having the letter ‘B’ branded into his forehead to represent the
word ‘blasphemer’ so all who saw him were aware of his
‘crime’ and having his tongue bored
through with a red hot iron.
This was the lesser punishment; he was informed that he was lucky
not to have received the death penalty. |
|
|
|
Countless others were not so lucky, and were murdered by the Church
of England of the time. The last man to be burned in London for
blasphemous heresy was Bartholomew Legate in 1612; the last man in
England burnt for heresy was Edward Wightman of Burton-on-Trent also
in 1612. William Laud, the future Archbishop of the Church of
England ordered Edward Wightman to be excommunicated and condemned
to be burned at the stake following approval by King James I.
Wightman’s two murderers therefore held the office of Arch Bishop of
Canterbury and King of England! Moreover, this ‘King of England’
considered himself so devout that he gives us, as a nation, the
modern English version of the Bible, the King James Bible. |
